Jeremy Mende

Jeremy Mende creates immersive, multisensory installations that shape space, light and movement into charged environments. His work confronts visitors with both their fundamental aloneness and their hunger for connection. Working at the intersection of place and perception, he approaches landscape and architecture as active collaborators, conditions he amplifies into palpable experience.

He holds a background in psychology from UCLA and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. His work has been exhibited internationally and is held in the permanent collection of SFMOMA. A Rome Prize Fellow, he teaches the design of experience, storytelling and experimental methods at California College of the Arts. He lives and works in San Francisco, California.
